Chapter 95 page 95 of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) manifesto admits to the fact that Malawi has more youths.
Former President Peter Mutharika who will soon be hitting 85 needs to pave way for young people.
DPP has alot of young people and if the question is, if these young people are not running the affairs of the party now when will these people do that.
There are international instruments which empowers young people backed by the International summits which heads of Governments and states have fully endorsed.
The party has full chapter promising Malawians to empower the youth and yet Mutharika himself is failing to empower the youth by clinging to power.
The best wayforward is that let DPP remove this chapter from their manfesto book.
Governance institutions have so far admonished Mutharika for the same reason of clínging to power.
