Mayor of Lilongwe City, Councilor Richard Banda, has today unveiled himself as Member of Parliament aspiring for Mlodza Constituency.
For the starters , Mlodza ward ward was Formally part of Lilongwe City South East Constituency.
Banda unveiled himself during a function which took place at the Constituency office.
Speaking at the ceremony, Banda commended President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera for the sound and visionary leadership in the country.
Banda said it is time for him to help Malawi President run affairs of this country as he continue with his second term in office.
The Mayor said the history has been registered for the first time to see development projects being implemented almost in all corners of the city.
He then urged the Constituents to support him as he starts the new journey in his political career.
During the function Banda donated a pick to the Constituency to be used as ambulance.
