Local tailor George Isaac donates uniforms to needy students at Chitedze Primary School

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, George Isaac, a renowned tailor from Limbuli in Mulanje district, has donated uniforms to underprivileged students at Chitedze Primary School.

Isaac, who owns a popular tailoring shop in town, was moved to action after witnessing numerous students attending school in tattered clothing.

Isaac revealed to thisĀ  Online publication that seeing young students struggling to attend school in dilapidated attire motivated him to take action. “I thought to myself, ‘what can I do to help?’ and decided to use my tailoring skills to make a difference,” he said.

George Isaac, clad in a jacket and T-shirt, stood alongside the students who were now wearing the uniforms he had kindly donated.



With the help of his team, Isaac designed and sewed uniforms for the needy students.

Charles Nkhoma, headteacher at Chitedze Primary School, praised Isaac’s generosity, citing him as a shining example of community service. “Isaac’s donation is a testament to the impact individuals can have when they choose to support those in need,” Nkhoma noted.

The donated uniforms will benefit numerous students who previously struggled to afford proper attire.
