The Malawi national netball team The Queens have arrived in Windhoek, Namibia where they will compete in the Debmarine Pent Series tournament.
The competition will see six countries – Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda and the hosts Namibia battle it out for the championship.
The five-day tournament will take place form Monday 1st to Friday 5th November, 2021 at the Israel Patrick Iyambo Police College in Olympia.

Malawi Queens are currently ranked sixth in the world, Uganda seventh, Zimbabwe 12th, Zambia 15th, Namibia 24th and Kenya 39th.
Led by coach Peace Chawinga-Kalua, The Queens are also expected to take part in the Africa Netball Cup slated for November 9 to 16 before proceeding to England for the Tri-Nations Tournament which is going to take place between between November 22 and 29.
Meanwhile, Queens’ captain Carol Mtukule-Ngwira has pleaded with Malawians to keep the team in prayers as they fight in these international tournaments.
