Malawian Reggae Music lovers have joined in,in mourning Jamaican reggae icon and lead singer of Morgan Heritage band Peter Morgan who died on Sunday 25th February.
According to a statement released by the family, the icon died of massive stroke last night.He has died at the age of 46.
Peter Morgan had been leading the Morgan Heritage band from the year 1994 .The band was composed of him and his 4 siblings ,Una,Roy, Nakhamya and Memmalatel.
Morgan Heritage has performed in Malawi and the familiar voice of Peter is something that many lovers of this genre will truly miss
Morgan’s family said in a statement: ‘It is out of sincere love that we share that our beloved husband, father, son and brother and lead singer of Morgan Heritage, Peter Anthony Morgan, has ascended today, February 25.
‘Jah come and save us from ourselves because love is the only way’
‘Our family thanks you in advance for your overwhelming love and support and we ask for your continued prayers as we go through this process’
