Legendary musician Boniface Ndamera of Lucky Stars music group has been honoured with the lifetime achievement award at this year’s Maso Awards.
Ndamera is the leader of Lucky Stars Band and the only surviving original member of the Lucky Stars duo formed in 1970 comprised of Ndamera himself and Raphael Banda who died in 2004.
At the Award Ceremony held on Saturday, December 28, at Comesa Hall in Blantyre, several entertainers were awarded for their exceptional talent.
Straight from winning the MBC’s Entertainer of Entertainers award , Gospel musician Miracle Chinga was also among the biggest winners at Maso awards, scooping the Best Gospel Act (Female) award and the Best Gospel Song award.
Onesimus and Fada Moti also scooped two awards each in different categories.
The event was spiced up by performances from man of the moment Fada Moti, Jetu, Teddy and many others.
