Midfielder Lloyd Aaron to remain a Civo player as the team welcomes veteran players Harry Nyirenda and Frank Banda

The transfer window closed on Monday midnight, August 14 and it was a busy final day for teams as Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Silver Strikers failed to sign Flames midfielder Lloyd Aaron.

The Nomads and the central bankers failed to agree terms with Civil Service United to sign the midfielder on loan.

On Sunday, the Nomads pulled out of the deal after they were notified that the player is available for 20 million kwacha through a virtual meeting and Silver Strikers were the only side with a chance to sign the player.

A day later, Silver also pulled out from the deal as they were let down by the asking amount which Civil set on the 20-year-old.

This unturn promoted Wanderers to re-open the negotiations with Civil for a loan deal this time around but still failed to agree terms before midnight.

In other transfer news, Civil Service United have signed defender Harry Nyirenda and midfielder Frank Banda as free agents

Nyirenda left Ekwendeni Hammers recently whereas Banda was released at Silver Strikers early this year.

Another super league team which was busy on the transfer deadline day is Extreme FC.

The Mchinji-based side has signed five players which includes; Foster Beaton, formerly of Blue Eagles and Silver Strikers, Mphatso Dzongololo, Willard Dickson from Civil Service United, Jaffali John from Silver Strikers Reserve and Stephano George from Villa FC.
