Midfielder Mike Mkwate will be officially unveiled as FCB Nyasa Big Bullets player today,Saturday March 25, at the club’s headquarters in Blantyre, 247 Malawi can confirm.
The development comes despite romours that player through his Agent Harron Cassim had turned down an offer from the People’s team
Malawi News newspaper dated March 25, 2023, reported that Mkwate turned down a three-year deal offer worth K4.5 million and K450, 000 monthly salary from FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
But Speaking to 247 Online, an official from the club who opted for anonymity, said the news was not true saying the player is expected to sign a deal with Bullets today.
Mkwate arrived in the country after terminating his contract with South Africa’s National First Division side Polokwane City due to lack of game time.
The former Wizards FC midfielder joined Polokwane in 2021 on a two-and-half-a-year deal from Bullets.
