Mighty Wanderers Football Club has announced the appointment of Bob Mpinganjira as its new head coach.
This comes after Mpinganjira’s successful stint as interim coach, during which he led the team to victory in the Castel Challenge Cup last year.
In an interview with 247 Malawi News, the club’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Panganeni Ndovi, said Mpinganjira will be offered a minimum one-year contract, subject to review at the end of the season.
He added that Mpinganjira will have the autonomy to choose his own backroom staff.
The new Wanderers head coach replaces Meck Mwase, whose contract was terminated due to absenteeism.
