A third-year Banking and Finance student at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS),Tamandani Palapandu,has established a pure water manufacturing company called Aquasnack Supply Co.
The company is in Pacific Tower building, third floor, room number SFB26 in Blantyre’s Limbe Township.
In an interview with 247 Malawi News on Monday,Palapandu, 20,said her vision is to provide high-quality, affordable drinking water and soft drinks to the local community.
“I wanted to create a business that meets the needs of our community by offering a range of refreshing products at an affordable price,” she explained.
Despite facing challenges such as finding a suitable location, raising funds, and obtaining necessary certificates,Palapandu said she persevered and successfully launched her business.
She said her products are not only safe but also affordable, making them accessible to a wide range of customers.
The soft-spoken young girl said her future plans include expanding her product line to include bottled water and other drinks.
She said she is also working on establishing a stronger market presence, particularly in the Limbe area.
To support her business, Palapandu invited customers to visit her shop at the aforementioned location.
“Small orders are also welcome, and customers can place orders directly at the shop,” she said.
Aquasnack Supply Co is a testament to Palapandu’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to providing quality products to her community.
