Two renowned human rights activists Redson Munlo and Charles Ben Longwe, have vowed to fight and fight better than before until Malawi is liberated from the shackles of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) dictatorship and its leader President Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera.

Munlo said he will fight till his last drop of his blood to see to it that the MCP party that has caused untold pain and suffering, making lives of the poor so bearable and shading tears down their cheeks as mourners, not bounce back into government in 2025.

He has assured Malawians that Malawi First is going nowhere until justice is delivered but he cannot allow one person who has ill-motive of the planned demonstrations against Chakwera’s led government to make the members dance to his music.

“I will fight till my last drop of my blood,” said Munlo through an audio clip.

Charles Ben Longwe said he and Redson Munlo have no friends promising to side with Malawians that are dying of hunger due to skyrocketing prices of a bag of maize, no fertilizer in selling points, no medicine in hospitals, no fuel, and no forex.

He said MCP led government has no friends in Malawi claiming that no Malawian is speaking good of the MCP as it has no welfare of the citizens at heart assuring the authorities in Malawi that he is not to play or smile with corrupt politicians who are destroying the country.

The activist has dismissed calls that he should come to Malawi and fight together with Malawians that are demonstrating in the streets against President Chakwera and his MCP arguing that the late Chakufwa Thom Chihana and Kamlepo Kalua started the road to Malawi’s freedom fighters outside Malawi.

He said he will be fighting from a distance as he cannot come to Malawi, Malawians are there to be holding demonstrations claiming that the demos are for Malawians that are regretting to have voted for President Chakwera into government.

“I have my children to look after and for this, I can not go to Malawi for the purpose of holding demonstrations and coming back, Malawians are there to liberate their country,” said Ben Longwe.

And speaking in an interview with Capital Radio “Straight Talk” Programme anchored by Rhodes Msonkho, Ben Longwe said Malawi First has not disbanded assuring Malawians that Bon Kalindo and Richard Chimwemwe Mphepo are on one side while him and Redson Munlo are on the other side.

He said nothing is working for President Chakwera and his MCP government advising Vice President Dr. Saulosi Klaus Chilima to forget about his dream of taking over as President of the country as per agreement they signed assuring him that Malawians are not ready to take him on board as long as Malawi First is there.
