Barely three months after graduating with a Master of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), music producer Dkez Walker has landed himself a job as a lecturer at the Catholic University of Malawi (CUNIMA).
Walker real name Derrick Thom broke the news on his Facebook page on Friday evening.
He wrote, “I just got my first job as lecturer in economics at Catholic University of Malawi (CUNIMA). God is great.”
The Zomba-based producer has worked with a number of popular artists including Saxess, K Banton, Sean Morgan, Blaze, Joe Kellz and Funghai Mutsinze just to mention but a few.
Dkez Walker follows the footsteps of urban musicians ‘Nthondwa’ who also works as a lecturer and ‘Fredokiss’ who worked as a lecturer at the University of Malawi (UNIMA)
