Popular musician, Film Producer and Actor Kendall Kamwendo has expressed his intentions to contest as a Member of Parliament for Mndolera Constituency in Dowa district.
Kamwendo of the Nyemba Nyemba Boys duo says he will contest under Malawi Congress Party (MCP) ticket.
Kamwendo is well known on the music scene together with his long time friend Symon Kamulaka and is also well known for producing films with the “School Days” as one of his most popular productions.
Kamwendo joins a list of celebrities who have expressed interest to contest as Members of Parliament like musician Skeffa Chimoto, Social Media Influencer Gerald Kampanikiza and journalist Robert Kalindiza just to mention but a few.
