Limbe Police Station has appointed musician Jetu, whose real name is Christina Kholiyo, as a crime prevention ambassador. The announcement was made during an award ceremony for best-performing officers for the last quarter of 2024.
Guest speaker Yunus Ismail Lambat,encouraged police officers to work hard and maintain professionalism in their duties. Station manager Endwin Khambo emphasized that Jetu’s appointment aims to change the mindset of people who often misconceive older individuals as being involved in witchcraft.

Limbe Police Station has been at the forefront of innovation, being the first to use CCTV cameras in the streets. With Jetu on board as a crime prevention ambassador, the station hopes to further promote community engagement and challenge harmful stereotypes.
