“As a socially responsible organisation, we recognise the importance of investing in women’s education and providing the resources for them to excel. We are delighted to be a sponsor of the Must Girls Steam Camp, supporting young girls to fulfill their potential and shape a sustainable future for all,” Nyirenda said.

Organizing Chairperson for this year’s STEAM Camp Marion Chirwa thanked Nico Life Insurance for the support saying it will go a long way in making the event a success.

“We are very thankful to Nico life for the monetary support.

“Must is targeting to empower young girls, especially those who just sat for the Junior Certificate examinations and others who have just been selected to pursue STEM courses at MUST to instill interest in sciences,” Kajombo said.

She revealed that the 2024 intake at MUST recorded fewer girls than anticipated and expressed hope that initiatives like the STEAM Camp will inspire more girls to apply for and pursue STEAM subjects in the future.

The 2024 STEAM Camp will be conducted under the theme ‘Sustainable innovation.’
