South African Amapiano musician, Nkosazana Daughter has arrived in the country through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Lilongwe in preparation for Castel’s Pomme Breeze launch scheduled to take place at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) this evening
Meanwhile, Malawian amapiano star Jetu has departed from Amaryllis Hotel en route to Chileka International Airport on her way to Lilongwe where she is expected to meet the South Africa Amapiano Queen.
Amapiano, a Nguni word loosely translated to “the pianos”, is a subgenre of kwaito and house music that emerged in South Africa in the mid-2010s.
It is a hybrid of deep house, jazz, and lounge music characterized by synths and wide, percussive basslines.
