The Northern Region Football Association (NRFA) is gearing up for its highly anticipated Elective General Assembly, scheduled to take place on February 15, 2025, in Mzuzu. As the region’s football stakeholders prepare for this pivotal event, the nomination process for candidates is currently underway and will conclude on January 14, 2025.
According to the NRFA, District Football Associations are required to submit their completed nomination forms to the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) General Secretary Office, with copies forwarded to the NRFA Secretariat. This meticulous process ensures transparency and accountability in the selection of candidates.
The Elective General Assembly will bring together representatives from all District Football Associations, each with four voting delegates. This gathering of football leaders will shape the future of football in the Northern Region, as they elect new officials to steer the NRFA.
