Onesimus submits ‘Controller’ to Grammy’s

Prolific musician Onesimus has submitted his hit song ‘Controller’ for consideration at the 67th Grammy awards.

Onesimus acknowledged the song which blends Afrobeat rhythms with a smooth, danceable groove was submitted under ‘Best African Performance’ category.

Onesimus expressed confidence in his submission highlighting the song has taken over the waves since it’s release this year.

African Butter, as he is popularly known is currently in Nigeria where he is shooting a music video for ‘Controller’ remix with famous worldwide star JoeBoy.

Recently, Onesimus was recognized for his exceptional talent with the same song as he won Best Male Artist at the 8th annual Hapa Awards in Tanzania.

His triumph came over established African stars including Harmonize, Marioo, Rayvanny (Tanzania), Khaid and Kcee (Nigeria).

The win added to his accolades which he has stacked over the years as he cements his name in the music industry.

The 67th Grammy nominees will be announced on November 8th, 2024, and GRAMMY Awards will take place on February 2nd, 2025.
