Pikho Farms in Lilongwe on Tuesday unveiled Zeze and Dorothy Kingston as brand ambassadors for its community empowerment project, which is being implemented in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation scholarship program and the University of Pretoria in South Africa.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Pikho Farms Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Pilirani Khoza, a beneficiary of the Mastercard Foundation scholarship program, stated that the Kingstons will not only promote the Mastercard Foundation but also encourage more people to venture into seedling production.

“It is unfortunate that many people are unaware of these valuable opportunities. I am confident that the Kingstons’ involvement will raise awareness about the scholarships and my farm,” said Khoza.

The Kingstons expressed gratitude to Pikho Farms for the partnership, pledging to work diligently to achieve the desired results.

Khoza, a 2022 graduate of the University of Pretoria with a master’s degree in forestry and environmental studies, courtesy of the Mastercard scholarship program, is eager to give back to the community through this initiative.
