Precious Phiri posted an emotional tribute to FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Board, players and supporters as his career at Bullets comes to an end.
Phiri leaves after staying with the People’s team for seven years, helping them win several trophies – including the historical quadruple in the 2023 season.
“As I bid farewell to this incredible football team after 7 unforgettable years, I’m filled with gratitude and nostalgia. Today, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for making my journey so remarkable. I’m still processing the emotions, but I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you,” reads the statement in part.
Phiri further said that he will live to remember each and every moment during his time with the Ndirande outfit.
“As I move on to the next chapter of my career, I want to thank my teammates, coaches, and the entire organization for the opportunity to be part of this amazing team. I’ll cherish the friendships, lessons, and experiences we’ve shared.
To supporters, I appreciate your loyalty and enthusiasm. Your energy has fueled my passion for the game, and I’m honored to have had the chance to make you proud,” reads the statement.
Fondly known as PP20, Phiri who joined Bullets in 2018 from Mighty Tigers, is expected to join Zimbawe’s Premier League side Platinum FC.
