Blantyre – President Lazarus Chakwera has completed his rounds of golf at the Presidential Charity Golf Tournament, held at the Limbe Country Club today. The event, which started early in the morning, saw the president on the golf course for nearly seven hours as he participated in the charity-driven sporting activity.
The tournament, part of the #PresidentialCharityGolf initiative, aims to raise funds for various charitable causes across the country. The president, known for his support of philanthropic activities, engaged in the event alongside several business leaders, politicians, and members of the diplomatic community.
Following the conclusion of the golf game, the next highlight of the day will be the awards ceremony, where participants will be recognized for their efforts. The ceremony is expected to celebrate not only the sporting achievements but also the contributions towards the charitable goals of the event.
