Robin Ngalande Announces Retirement from Football.

Former Civo United, Mighty Wanderers, Atlético Madrid, and Bidvest Wits forward Robin Ngalande has officially retired from football. Ngalande made the announcement at Kamuzu Stadium during the Airtel Top 8 *Za Madolo* 2024 season, where his former club Mighty Mukuru Wanderers secured a 1-0 victory against Bangwe All Stars.

“I am currently doing marketing at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), and I don’t see myself playing active football anymore. If I return, it will be on an administrative level,” Ngalande said.

With a career that included time in Atlético Madrid’s youth academy and key performances at Bidvest Wits in South Africa, Ngalande is widely regarded as one of Malawi’s top football exports. Now turning his focus to a career in marketing, he leaves behind a lasting legacy in Malawian football.
