In a related development, Football Association of Malawi (FAM) disclosed that Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) failed to beam Saturday’s Airtel Top-8 semifinal because they did not acquire TV Rights.
This is however in contrary to what MBC said on their failure to beam the match
According to the state broadcaster, Football Association of Malawi (FAM) defied court order by not allowing MBC crew who were already at the stadium to beam the match live on television.
On December 7, The High court in Blantyre ordered FAM to give MBC rights to beam the remaining games in the Airtel Top 8 competition.
