Singer Tuno Set to Perform at ‘Ladies Night Out’ in Blantyre

Renowned Malawian singer Tunosiwe Mwakalinga, popularly known as Tuno, is gearing up to perform at the much-anticipated ‘Ladies Night Out’ event set for Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Blues Bar & Restaurant in Blantyre.

Tuno, whose stage presence and soulful voice have made her a fan favorite, shared her excitement about performing at an event that celebrates female talent and creativity. “People can expect a top-notch show, and I encourage all ladies attending to look their best,” she said. “I’ll be performing a mix of songs, including tracks from my latest EP.” Fans can look forward to hearing her hit singles like “Munditenga” and “No One,” among others.

The ‘Ladies Night Out’ event is designed to uplift and promote diverse forms of female artistry, and this year’s edition will feature talented female DJs, including DJ Nyenyezi and DJ La Perle. Singer Rina will host the event, adding her charm to an evening dedicated to empowering women in the arts.

Organized by Sound Freak Entertainment, ‘Ladies Night Out’ began in 2016 but was paused for three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event now returns with its original spirit of inclusivity, welcoming not only women but anyone who wants to enjoy an evening of vibrant performances and entertainment.
