Death has been announced of South African AfroPop star Bulelwa Mkutukana,better known as Zahara.
South African national Minister of Arts & Culture Zizi Kodwa has confirmed the passing of the singer with the media in the rainbow nation
It is said that Zahara was hospitalized at a private hospital in Johannesburg two weeks ago after suffering from liver complications.
She broke into the music industry after her sensational debut album titled Loliwe in 2011.
The singer later released four more albums with Nqaba Yam being the latest in 2021.
The guitarist turned 36 on November 9 this year.
She hailed from Phumlani in the Eastern Cape.
