Minister of Sports Richard Chimwendo Banda says all is set to renovate stadiums that will be used in the upcoming Region 5 Youths games.
This has been said at a media briefing led by Minister of Information Gospel Kazako and Minister of Sports Richard Chimwendo Banda.
According to Chimwendo, hosting the games will cost the country not less than 13 billion kwacha.
Chimwendo says Bingu, Silver and Civo stadiums will all be renovated ahead of the games to be played in December.
He adds that the games will help to give the country legacy as about 240 athletes will be coming into the country.
On his part, Kazako says peace which is unveiling in the country is biggest worth that some countries are missing.
According to Kazako, the games will help to bring oneness and improve the economy as there will be an element of high jobs creation.
