Target Security Group supports children’s welfare with K1 million donation

Target Security Group (TSG), a leading provider of security solutions, demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility on Sunday April 21, 2024, by donating K1 million to Children of the Nations, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable children.

Speaking during the cheque handover ceremony,TSG Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Davie Kavinya said the donation is part of the security company’s efforts to give back to the community.

“We believe that supporting the welfare of children is crucial for building a brighter future, and we are proud to partner with Children of the Nations in this endeavor,” Kavinya said.

Children of the Nations Country Director, Lilien Khofi, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the timely support, which comes as the organization launches a community feeding program aimed at providing nutritious meals to children in need.

“This donation will go a long way in supporting our mission to provide care and support to vulnerable children, and we are grateful for TSG’s generosity,” Khofi said.

Children of the Nations currently provides care for 1,640 children on its campuses, 919 children in communities, and supports 118 students in various public and private universities.

The organization’s programs focus on education, healthcare, and economic empowerment, aiming to break the cycle of poverty and give children a chance to reach their full potential.
