Malawi’s talented female artist, Temwah Gondwe, has made history for herself after winning her first international award as the Best Zikomo Female Rising Artist of the Year at the 4th edition of the Zikomo Africa Awards held at the Sandton Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Temwah, known for her hit song “Ndilikuti,” has emerged as one of Africa’s top artists, receiving the prestigious Zikomo Africa Award for her outstanding contributions to the creative industry.
In a separate interview, her manager, Temwani Jeffrey, attributed Temwah’s success to her passion, resilience, and dedication, which have been evident in her hard work over the years.
“I have witnessed firsthand Temwah’s unwavering dedication, unrelenting passion, and unbridled talent.
“I am honored to have played a part in her journey since 2021.
“This international award is a testament to her hard work and discipline,” said Jeffrey.
Meanwhile, Temwah has dedicated the award to her fans.
“This award is for Team Temwah in Malawi, Africa, and internationally, for their unwavering support.Let us celebrate it in style,” said the top female artist.
