The opposition Democratic Progressive Party continues to make a joke of itself as their infighting continues. Leader of Opposition in Parliament has flexed his muscles by firing Simon Vuwa Kaunda as Chief Whip. Kaunda is know to belong to Arthur Peter Muntharika camp
In an official letter released today, it says Leader of the Opposition in Dr Kondwani Nankhumwa has made some parliamentary leadership changes.
Nankhumwa has appointed Julius Mwase as new Chief Whip to be deputized by Victoria Kingstone.
DPP has been rocked by divisions as the party plans to go to the convention to elect a new leader. Nankhumwa a candidate for the leadership role has not been operating under instructions from the current leader ,former President Peter Mutharika. Nankhumwa camp accuses Mutharika of favouring another leadership candidate Dr Dalitso Kabambe
