TNM Super League: Bullets held as bottom placed Extreme FC beat Bwangwe All Stars 3-2

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets missed an opportunity to move a point behind league leaders Mighty Mukuru Wanderers as they were held to a 1-all draw against Ekwendeni Hammers at Rumphi Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Isaac Msiska put the home side in front in the 40th minute but Lanjesi Nkhoma equalized for the People’s team with just seconds before half time.

The draw means that Bullets remain second on the log table with 44 points, three points behind league leaders Mighty Mukuru Wanderers who have so far accumulated 47 points but Bullets have three games in hand.



In Lilongwe, Extreme FC pulled a surprise victory as they battled valiantly to beat Bangwe All Stars 3-2 at Nankhaka Stadium.

Babangida Ishaya, Tony Phiri and Beston Jimu were on target for the Mchinji-based side while Emmanuel Savieli and Kondwani Chilembwe scored for the visitors.

Despite the win, Extreme remain bottom on the log table with 18 points from 26 games while Bangwe are perched on position 9 with 32 points from 25 games.

In Dedza it ended 1-1 between Dedza Dynamos and Moyale Barracks with Raphael Phiri scoring for the visitors and Ibrahim Sadiki equalizing for the home side.
