Kamuzu Barracks moved seven points closer to the league leaders Silver Strikers following their 3-2 win over Mighty Waka-Waka Tigers at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Zeliat Nkhoma put the visitors ahead just 10 minutes from kick-off following a defense lapses on the part of Tigers and he doubled the lead in the 33rd minute.
KB got their third goal through Ndaona Daisi who scored in the 75th minute after recieving an assist from Hope Namazunda.
Daniel Shadreck pulled one back for the home side in the 83rd minute before Masambiro Kalua scored the second goal for Tigers but it was too late as KB went back home with maximum points.
KB have now dislodged FCB Nyasa Big Bullets on position 3 with 15 points, two points ahead of the People’s who are playing Moyale Barracks on Monday.
In Dedza, Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos thumped Bangwe All Stars 3-nil to move to position 6 on the log table.
Lughano Kaira scored the first goal for the home side before Chifuniro Mpinganjira came with a brace in the 41st and 56th minute.
The result means Bangwe remain bottom on the log table with three points from eight games.
