Minister of Information and digitisation, Gospel Kazako says the Tonse Alliance administration is trying its best as a lot of things have improved in the country compared to how things were six months ago.
The Minister speaking at a press briefing in Lilongwe was commenting on the recent Afrobarometer opinion poll which indicates that majority of respondents said they would vote for the Democratic Progressive Party if elections were conducted in February this year.
Kazako said a lot of things have changed since the survey was conducted.
He mentioned that government has managed to employ 2200 primary school teachers and 2599 secondary school teachers, increased university students allowances and also constructing roads in some districts of the country.
“If another afrobarometer survey comes today, we will be able to prove that this government has tried and people will agree that there is an improvement in some sectors, ” said Kazako.
