Veteran MBC voice Kondwani Chisasa ,DJ Koko Derock calls it quits

He has been a regular voice from the early days of MBC Radio 2, however, as everything comes to an end renowned radio DJ and presenter, Kondwani Chisasa also known as Koko Ristics or Koko De Rock has announced his retirement from service at Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).

The Presenter who was recently in USA furthering his studies made the announcement on Thursday in an interview.

Koko who is 47-year-old was among the early presenters fronting Radio 2 alongside the likes of, Chakuchanya Harawa, Gift Mabeya Mbeya, and The late Mayeso DJ Jeso Chirwa,

Chisasa joined the public broadcaster when he was just 23 and until his retirement, he was working as a senior producer.

A well known football fan, known to play social football but also a big Manchester United fan, Chisasa has not let the lid out on what he is going to be doing next

Born and raised in Blantyre, he originally comes from Gwedeza Village, Traditional Authority Kwataine in Ntcheu District.
