Super League sides Mighty Mukuru Wanderers, Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos and Creck Sporting are through to the FDH Cup Round of 16 after recording victories over Cobbe Barracks, Nyambadwe United and FOMO FC respectively.
In a match played at Balaka stadium, Wanderers scored their first goal through Gaddie Chirwa who beat the offside trap to put his side in the lead just 12 minutes from kick-off.
The Nomads retained that level of control for the first 20 minutes, but never felt safe until Francisco Madinga scored their second goal from a free-kick which was taken afew metres from the edge of the penalty box.
Chirwa made sure of the victory for the Nomads right in the first half as he completed his brace in the 26th minute to send the Nomads into the round of 16.
Wanderers continued to control the rest of the first half with Stanley Sanudi, Isaac Kaliati and Felix Zulu displaying beautiful football to the excitement of the Nomads fans that thronged Balaka stadium.
In the second half the Nomads made a number of substitutions but still managed to control the game and maintained their 3-nil lead to the end of the match.
After the match, Gaddie Chirwa was voted man of the match.
The win for the Nomads means that there will be yet another Blantyre derby as they will meet city rivals FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the next round.
Bullets reached the round of 16 after beating Bangwe All Stars 5-nil on Saturday at Kamuzu Stadium.
In another FDH Cup match played on Sunday, Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos survived a late scare to stay in the competition as they beat Nyambadwe United 3-2 at Mpira Stadium.
Dedza who will face Karonga United in the round of 16 scored through Promise Kamwendo, Victor Lungu and Lameck Gamphani while Nyambadwe scored through Imran John and Erick Sadie.
Elsewhere, Creck Sporting beat FOMO FC 3-1 on post-match penalties after the match which took place at Civo Stadium ended 2-2 in regulation time.
Creck will now face fellow Super League side Baka City away in Karonga.
