Goals from Christopher Kumwembe and Misheck Botomani secured the three points for Mighty Mukuru Wanderers against Civil Service United at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
Kumwembe broke the deadlock in the 25th minutes when he slot in between two Civil defenders after receiving a pass from Misheck Botomani.
Botomani then doubled the lead in the 31st minute when he tapped into the net from a Stanley Sanudi free kick.
In other matches, Dedza United came from behind to draw 1-all against rookies Bangwe All Stars at Dedza Stadium.
Former Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves player Chikumbutso Salima scored for the visitors while Clement Nyondo saved the home side from an early embarrassment.
There was another 1-all draw in Lilongwe between Blue Eagles FC and Zomba-based side Red Lions FC.
The Area 30 side scored through Mecium Mhone who was also voted man of the match while Humphreys Minandi scored for the visitors.
Elsewhere, Ekwendeni Hammers and Kamuzu Barracks FC played out to a goal-less draw at Mzuzu Stadium
Sunday’s results means that only Mafco FC and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers have won their matches and no visiting team has managed to secure a win so far.
