Users of WhatsApp have woken up to the good news that the messaging App intends to allow users added on groups to leave the group without a notice being posted on the group that they have left
The new plans were announced by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on his Facebook updates. Zuckerberg wrote “New privacy features coming to WhatsApp: exit group chats without notifying everyone, control who can see when you’re online, and prevent screenshots on view once messages. We’ll keep building new ways to protect your messages and keep them as private and secure as face-to-face conversations.”
Many people appear to be happy with the idea. Many have expressed that they have been added to useless groups but have failed to leave the groups for fear of appearing to let down the group’s admin. With the new feature, a person will quietly leave the group without anyone noticing
